Price and Availability

Ather 450 - Ather Energy is a company based in Bangalore. Customers who want to buy this type of electric scooter can do so for Rs. 1.13 lakh or on an EMI for Rs. 2,589 per month. It should be noted, however, that both prices are for customers residing in Bangaluru.

Ather 450X can be purchased with either the Plus Pack or the Pro Pack. Customers who purchase the scooter with the Pro pack pay Rs. 1.59 lakh in Bangalore and Rs. 1.45 lakh in Delhi, or Rs. 1999 per month on an EMI. Customers who purchase the plus pack must pay Rs. 1.49 lakh in Bangalore and Rs. 1.35 lakh in Delhi, or Rs. 1699 per month on an EMI.

Design 

Ather 450 - The Ather 450 has a white base with black panels on the apron. It also has highlights on the side panel, rim stripes, and other details.

Ather 450X - The design is the same, but the rear-view mirror has been modified for improved visibility. Ather 450X comes in two colours: green with yellow highlights and cyan with orange highlights. In addition, the 450X logo is printed on the apron of the scooter and the suggested tyre pressure is printed on the rim.

Range

Ather 450 - Both scooters have the same battery dimensions, but the Ather 450 has a usable battery capacity of 2.4 kWh.

Ather 450X - With an upgraded battery cell, the usable battery capacity of the Ather 450X is 3.7 kWh, which also contributes to the scooter's performance and range.

Available Colours

Ather 450 - For the time being, the Ather 450 is only available in white.

Ather 450X - Two new colours are available for the Ather 450X: green with yellow highlights and cyan with orange highlights.

Performance

Ather 450 - As the first electric scooter to be released, it was expected that the scooter would be quick with good torque, but in the case of the Ather 450, there is a slight delay in the power to kick in. Despite this, the Ather 450 achieves 0-60kmph faster than any other non-electric scooter.

Ather 450X - Because the Ather 450X has a better battery back than the Ather 450, it is faster than the Arther 450, with more torque and power for the electric motor.

Charging

Ather 450 - It takes 5 hours and 25 minutes to charge this type of scooter.

Ather 450X - This type of scooter requires 5 hours and 45 minutes to charge.

Battery

Ather 450 - This scooter features the most recent lithium-ion technology, with a battery capacity of approximately 2.4 kWh. With this scooter, you can use either a regular charger or a fast charger.

Ather 450X - This scooter features the most recent lithium-ion technology, with a battery capacity of approximately 3.7 kWh. With this scooter, you can use either a regular charger or a fast charger.

Other Features

Ather 450 - It has full LED lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled touchscreen display, onboard navigation, reverse mode, a rear mono-shock, disc brakes on both wheels, time-based adaptive screen brightness, and themes, among other things.

Ather 450X -  Bluetooth 4.2, auto indicator off, guide me home light, side stand sensor, connected mobile app, time-based adaptive screen brightness and themes, and on-board navigation are all standard features.
